Georgian Rectory, Northants.
This lovely Regency period rectory in a small Northants. village, had been altered substantially over the years with new extensions, although the core and grounds were intact. This work comprised a multitude of separate planning applications, from a modern glazed extension linking a Games Room to the main house; re-roofing; insertion of new door openings; a pool and pool house; a new coach house and garden design. The original fanlight entrance was recreated based on a historic watercolour found in the local archives.

Residential Projects
Art Studio, Notts.
This is a project undertaken for my own use, as a a painting and printmaking studio in my garden. Set under an old willow tree, the studio becomes part of the garden and even acts as an occasional summer house. Self-built, the studio comprises a substantial amount of recycled materials including: structural timbers from an old stable; 'seconds' insulation; re-used shuttering ply for floor and roof; and doors, windows, radiators and Belfast sink taken from a builders salvage yard. The labour was new!
Pick's Barn, Leicestershire
The project involved formation of an extension to an existing converted barn for use as a family dining area. Constructed in local limestone and pantiles, the space opens out into the garden in summer, and provides a cosy space to both sit and dine by the fire in colder times.

Alsop Hall, Derbyshire
Alsop Hall is a Grade II listed house, the estate of which had been established in the 12th century.
The project involved extending the existing Edwardian Kitchen to provide a new dining area. A wrap-around glazed screen of solid oak construction under a thin flat roof provides views into a courtyard outside, creating a space contiguous with the old kitchen, whilst retaining the character of the historic frontage.
